Basic Crepes

This is an easy and delicious crepe recipe. Top the crepes with fruit and ice cream or cream, and a delicious crepe dessert is born!

Basic Crepes


  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ⅓ cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt


    1. In a large glass bowl, add flour and eggs and whisk. Add milk and mix well. Add salt, sugar, and butter and beat until smooth.
    2. Heat a medium Sakuchi crepe pan over medium heat. Use a brush to spread a small amount of butter or oil onto the frying pan. Pour the batter onto a baking sheet, using about 1/4 cup per crepe. Tilt the pan in a circular motion so the batter evenly coats the surface.
    3. Cook the crepes for about 2 minutes, until the bottoms are golden brown. Loosen with a spatula, turn and cook the other side. Serve hot.
